Day 1

Dear, mom and dad,

Today I landed in Sydney, I’m here with my friend Tony, we’re here because we are going to visit plenty of different places. And detect all the interesting things, here in Australia. We are going to visit the opera house tomorrow, for example. We are going to stay here approximately seven days, so it’s going to be really amazing!

Day 2

Dear, mom and dad,

Me and Tony was in Sydney today and we went to the opera house. It was really delightful to see all the things there, and to learn so many things. For example about the danish architect, called Jørn Utzon and that the opera house was opened on 20 October 1973. But now I have to carry on, because me and Tony are going home, because it is getting late.  Meanwhile Tony is in the shopping market I’m going to cook something for us, so see you later!

Day 3

Dear, mom and dad,

Me and Tony are in Adelaide right now. Adelaide is Australia’s fifth largest city, with a population over 1.2 million, so they are many people here! Me and Tony wanted to go on a calm and surrounded place, so we started to ask some people, where we could go. It took us 1 hour until one man said that we should go to a place called ’’Adelaide Botanic Garden’’. So me and Tony decided to go there. When we arrived to the location, we started to think that we had leave the city, just because it was so calm. Although we haven’t got some rest after the long journey, Tony just decided, that we have to buy some ice cream before we leave. Soon we are getting penniless, due to Tony always want to get some ice cream.

I almost forgot to say that we are going to Cairns tomorrow, we are going to the tropical zoo. So it is going to be really fun. I will write to you guys, after the visit.

Day 4

Dear mum and dad,

We went to the tropical zoo today and it was really funny! It was so nice to se all the different animals, like the kangaroos, lemurs, crocodiles and plenty of other animals, because we cant see them in Sweden, unfortunately. Tony got actually really scared, especially from the crocodiles. But it was really enjoying to see all the different things here! Me and Tony are in a hotell right now, because tomorrow we are going to Canberra. But yeah, see you tomorrow, because I really need to get some rest!

Day 5

Dear mum and dad,

It was amazing in Canberra today! The weather was great and the scenery was incredible. We started the day, by visit the Australian War Memorial. The Australian War Memorial is Australia’s national memorial to the members of the forces and supporting organisations who died or participated in the wars of the Commonwealth of Australia. So it was really interesting and delightful to see all the things there! You almost got goose bumps every ten seconds!

Unfortunately, the journey is almost over, so me and Tony are trying to enjoy every second, that is left. Because the time here has been really amazing, and I would stay here a little more if I could actually.

We are now moving over to Sydney again, because it is not so much left of our journey. But tomorrow were going to try to find something to do.

Day 6

Dear mum and dad,

Today was also an amazing day, we went to the Coogee beach, for a walk. The weather was incredible and we just talked about the journey and all the things we’ve done the last days. We laughed so much and just took it easy.

Later on the day, we went to a café. And we started to think about if we should look on a soccer game and we both thought that it would be a great ending.

Fortunately we could see Fc Barcelona against Real Madrid, on the TV in the hotell. So we looked on the game, which ended 2-0 to barcelona. Tony started to get a bit angry, because Real Madrid is his favorite team. But after the game he started to calm down.

Day 7

Dear mum and dad,

We are at the airport right now, we’re both upset because we don’t want to leave this beautiful place. We haven’t got so much time today, so the last thing we did, was to visit the opera house again, because we both thought that it was the best place we had visit, on this journey.

But right now, we’re sitting at the airport, waiting to get aboard on the flight. So I don’t have so much time, but see you tomorrow in Sweden!
